There is no better way to enjoy one of New Zealand’s most loved and talked about golf courses than by becoming a member, which brings with it a range of benefits including priority tee times.

New Members

A number of different membership options are available for all players depending upon requirements and time. New members are welcome and there is no waiting list and memberships area available for men, women and junior players.

Social Activities

Membership opens up access to a whole range of club competitions, both competitive and fun, serious and social. There are weekly scrambles, mixed golf and seven honour board competitions throughout the season, some of which carry longstanding trophies and all offering the chance to ink one’s name into the Club’s history books.

Interclub golf is one of the highlights of the season and make, female and junior members have the opportunity to represent the Club against our neighbours in the annual pennants run by Bay of Plenty Golf.

Twilight golf on Thursdays is hugely popular during the summer months and one of the highlights of the year for many, who delight in playing the sport they love in the company of friends as the sun sets over one of their favourite places on the planet.

Events are organised throughout the year to correspond with prominent dates in the calendar such as Melbourne Cup Day in November.

Christmas is a special time of year for everyone and Hamper Days and other events are held in the run-up to the festive season, offering friendly competition with the added bonus of a very useful prize at what can be an expensive time of the year.

Our Clubhouse

Membership of Arikikapakapa is about so much more than being able to enjoy daily play on one of New Zealand’s most historic and visually stunning golf courses.

The Clubhouse experience is as appealing and fulfilling as the golfing one. There is a special rapport among the members that can be felt as soon as you enter the charming Clubhouse and the post-golf experience is treasured almost as much as the playing of the 18 holes that preceded it.

Nine Hole Golf

Nine-hole golf is becoming very popular in New Zealand with golfers from all walks of life, be they busy mums, self-employed tradesmen, veteran players or anyone with flexibility in their week schedule. It offers golfers the best of both worlds – providing the opportunity to be able to play the sport they love on a regular basis, but also being able to fit it around family life and all the other everyday commitments.
